What We Actually Offer

Work From Anywhere (Within Reason)

We're 100% remote and plan to stay that way.

What that means:

  • No commute. Work from home, save 2+ hours daily
  • Work from anywhere in world - doesn't matter
  • Async-first communication. We use Slack, Notion, and Loom so you're not chained to Zoom 8 hours/day
  • Flexible hours. Early bird? Night owl? Work when you're productive
  • Quarterly team meetups. We do gather in person 3-4x/year for planning and bonding

What that doesn't means:

  • Zero accountability or communication
  • Missing team meetings without notice
  • No collaboration or teamwork
  • Being unreachable for days

Remote = freedom + responsibility.

We don't do 9-5. We do results.

Some people code best at 6 AM with coffee. Others hit their flow state at 11 PM. We don't care when you work—we care that you
deliver great work and show up for the team.

What flexible hours actually means:

  • No fixed start/end times
    You're not punching a clock. Work 7 AM-3 PM, 11 AM-7 PM, or split your day around school pickup. As long as you're hitting deadlines and attending team meetings, structure your day however works for you.
  • Async-first communication
    We use Slack, Notion, and Loom so you're not chained to Zoom all day. Record a video update instead of scheduling a meeting. Leave a message instead of waiting for real-time response.
  • Core collaboration hours (but flexible)
    We do ask for some overlap for team communication—roughly 11 AM-3 PM UK time. But even that's flexible if you communicate. Got a doctor's appointment at 2 PM? Just let the team know.
  • Time zone friendly
    UK-based remote means everyone's in similar time zones (GMT/BST). You won't be joining calls at 3 AM or waiting 8 hours for responses.
  • Focus time = deep work time
    Need 4 hours of uninterrupted coding? Block it on your calendar. No one will Slack you. We protect focus time because that's when the best work happens.
  • No "always-on" culture
    Flexible doesn't mean available 24/7. We don't expect you to answer Slack at 10 PM unless there's a genuine emergency (which is rare). Set boundaries. We respect them.

What flexible does NOT mean:

  • Working whenever you feel like it with no structure
    You still need a consistent schedule so teammates know when to reach you. "I work random hours" doesn't work for collaboration.
  • Missing team meetings without notice
    We have standups, sprint planning, and client calls. These are scheduled with everyone's input. You need to show up (or give advance notice you can't).
  • Being unreachable for hours at a time
    You don't need to be glued to Slack, but if someone needs you urgently, you should respond within a few hours during your working day.
  • Zero accountability
    Flexible hours require MORE discipline, not less. You manage your time, but you deliver your work on schedule.
